Community Development Program

This program consists of SANAD Women's Affairs and SANAD Enterprise Development, both of which are designed for the capacity building of community members.

• The SANAD Women's Affairs Committee serves as a support group that offers women the opportunity to gain the skills they need to enter into the American culture while also providing the forum for discussion and problem solving. The opportunity to learn how to drive vehicles, learn English, and childcare solutions will to allow women to enter workforce and/or attend classes. The women's group allows for a free exchange of ideas and support. Activities that expose individuals to the resources available in their own communities, i.e. libraries, community classes, and family activities.

• SANAD Enterprise Development Committee provides business education, management assistance, and training to community entrepreneurs, with focus on member-owned businesses. This committee will hold business education and training sessions to educate and encourage those in the community with enterprising qualities to take advantage of the opportunities available to them. This activity has not started yet.
